Baked Cheesecake Recipe

The Baked Cheesecake is one of the desserts that everybody loves! It has a delicious taste and excellent consistency, and it is straightforward to prepare; you can make it using a blender!

The ingredients needed to prepare the Baked Cheesecake are:

  • 1 pack of Maria’s cookies
  • 2 butter sticks
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1/4 tablespoons of cinnamon

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1 cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla


Preparation of the crust

  1. Crush the Maria cookies using a food processor or a blender. You can also put the cookies in a small plastic bag, like a Ziploc, and crush them with a kitchen roller.
  2. Transfer the crushed cookies to the pan that we are going to use to make the cake.
  3. Melt the butter in the microwave or a frying pan on the stove. If you are using the microwave for this one, I recommend you to heat the butter in small intervals so that it does not burn since we need the butter to only be melted.
  4. Add the melted butter to the crushed cookies and integrate it very well using a spatula or spoon.
  5. Add the sugar and the cinnamon that we previously mixed.
  6. Add the nut and stir until all the ingredients are well mixed.
  7. Press the crushed cookies on the mold to form the crust. Put the cookies on the base and also on the walls of the mold.
  8. Put the pan in the refrigerator while we prepare the filling.

Preparation of the Baked Cheesecake filling:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (356 °F). We must turn the oven on about 15 minutes before using it.
  2. Put the condensed milk, cream cheese, eggs, lime juice, evaporated milk, and vanilla in the blender.
  3. Blend for a few minutes until all the ingredients are well mixed.
  4. We take the baking pan out of the refrigerator to have it ready for the filling.
  5. Stop the blender and transfer the mixture to the pan.
  6. The baking pan I used to make this Baked Cheesecake is squared, and it is 20×20 cms (7.8×7.8 inches), and I could put the whole mixture in it.
  7. Then we put it in the oven at 180 °C (356 °F) for around 55-60 minutes. Depending on your oven, there may be variations of more or less 5 minutes. We’ll have to keep an eye on it, so the cheesecake doesn’t burn.

How to avoid cracks in your cheesecake

To avoid getting cracks in your cheesecake, remember to follow these steps:

  • We should not open the oven before 30 minutes have passed because the cheesecake can break.
  • After the baking time, it is recommended to leave the cheesecake in the oven, already turned off, for around 20 to 30 minutes without opening the oven.
  • You can then open the oven door and leave the cheesecake in there for another 15 minutes, without taking it out of the oven.
  • After that, we can now take it out of the oven.

How to know when the cheesecake is ready

There are two easy ways to know if your cheesecake is ready:

  • We can know if the cheesecake is ready by moving the baking pan a little bit, if it’s ready, the center of the cheesecake should look firm.
  • We can also introduce a toothpick in the center of the cheesecake. Once the cheesecake is ready, the toothpick should come out clean, not humid.

The crust of the walls of the baked cheesecake will come off by itself, but it is recommended that you use a medium-sized knife to completely peel them off. Passing the knife through all the walls of the baking pan will make the crust come off completely.
Let the cheesecake rest for a couple of hours in the refrigerator and it will be ready to eat!
